Sports Massage After Care


Aftrer your massage, it is not uncommon for you to experience tiredness, muscle soreness, cold like syptoms and increased thirst in the first 12 to 24 hours.

1)Ensure you drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol in the first 12 to 24 hours following your massage. The muscles which have been worked on will have been depleted of water and electrolytes so it is important to replenish it.

2) Stretching the muscles that have been worked on after a massage can help to maintain their flexibility so you can enjoy long lasting benefits.

3) Try to avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours after a massage as you may increase your risk of injury.
